This technique involves applying a thin layer of paint using a squeegy.This is followed by a layer of glaze. The process is repeated 20 to 40 times. I prefer acrylics. A flat hard surface is needed. Canvas on board is ideal.

I find more surprises by not planning a painting ahead of time I usually know if I am likely to wind up with an abstract painting vs. a portrait, but not alway.
