Welcome to my online gallery. Vases and persimmons seem to be an obsession of mine. A major portion of my paintings include one or more of each, and I see no end in sight. My other recent interests are what I call Meditations on Color, as well as more traditional themes. You will find techniques, such as fresco, combined with subjects, such as Japanese calligraphy, the purpose of which is to blend antique and modern. In this way I am seeking a sense of peace and continuity with the past.
